CSPO Holds Workshop and Seminar Titled “Determining a Plantation Empowerment and Replanting Model for the Sustainability of Indonesian Palm Oil” (27 – 28 May 2016)

The Consortium for Studies on Palm Oil (CSPO) was established in 2015. Since then, CSPO has been involved with multiple parties and consistently produced research on various aspects of palm oil, including economic, social, and environmental. To collaborate with researchers from these fields, CSPO will expand its membership. The consortium will socialize its vision, mission, and activity roadmap at a workshop on May 27, 2016. This workshop is part of the seminar titled “Determining a Plantation Empowerment and Replanting Model for the Sustainability of Indonesian Palm Oil,” which will be held on May 28, 2016. The workshop and seminar are a collaborative effort between CSPO, Perhepi Medan, and Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU). Those wishing to participate can download the brochure using the link below and fill out the included registration form. Participants should submit abstracts before May 10. CSPO will announce the results on May 12, 2016. The registration fee is as follows:

  • Perhepi presenters : IDR 250,000
  • Non-Perhepi presenters : IDR 300,000
  • Perhepi members/students : IDR 100,000
  • Non-members : IDR 150,000

Registration will be closed on May 23, 2016, unless the number of workshop participants has reached 100 and the number of seminar participants has reached 300 before this date.
